About this tool

Apply ownership, draft, client, or campaign labels consistently across a batch of images without uploading private assets.

Image Watermark applies the same rendered text style to a batch of raster images and exposes final previews before individual or ZIP download.

  • Shows a live preview for the selected image and applies the same fitted watermark to up to 30 local files.
  • Controls nine positions, relative text size, edge padding, color, contrast outline, opacity, and PNG, JPEG, or WebP output.
  • Automatically reduces oversized watermark text to remain inside each image or reports a file-specific error instead of silently clipping it.
  • Decodes every successful output to verify its MIME type and dimensions, then provides individual downloads or a collision-safe ZIP with a manifest.

How to use Image Watermark

Add PNG, JPG, or WebP images, set text, position, opacity, relative size, color, and output format, then generate and inspect the results before downloading.

When this tool is useful

  • Before sharing draft photography or client proofs.
  • When campaign images need a consistent ownership label.
  • When several assets require the same status or review mark.

Practical tips

  • Choose a contrasting color and inspect light and dark image areas.
  • Keep opacity high enough to remain visible after resizing.
  • Retain unwatermarked originals for future editing.

Examples you can test

Load an example, compare the result with the expected output, then replace it with your own input.

Mark a proof gallery

Example input

12 JPG files; text DRAFT; centered; 45% opacity

Expected output

12 watermarked previews and one downloadable ZIP.

Centered watermarks are harder to crop out but cover more of the image.

Validation checklist

  • Inspect every output preview.
  • Confirm watermark spelling, color, position, and opacity.
  • Check JPG output for visual quality.
  • Keep original images separately.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark several images at once?

Yes. Apply the same settings to up to 30 images and download the results together as a ZIP.

Which image formats are supported?

The tool accepts PNG, JPEG, and WebP source files and exports PNG, JPEG, or WebP when the browser supports that encoder. Each file can be up to 25 MB and 40 megapixels.

Does changing settings update existing output?

The selected image preview updates immediately. Changing settings invalidates old batch results so downloaded files cannot be mistaken for the current preview.

Are images uploaded?

No. Rendering and image export happen locally with the browser Canvas API.
