At Utiloom, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data Processed Locally

All tools on Utiloom run entirely in your browser. The text, files, images, and other inputs you provide to any tool are processed using client-side JavaScript and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to the content you enter into any tool.

1.2 Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save the following preferences on your device:

  • Theme preference — your light or dark mode selection.
  • Favorites list — the tools you have marked as favorites.
  • Recently used tools — a list of tools you have recently visited.

This data remains on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

1.3 Cookies

Utiloom does not use first-party cookies for tool inputs, favorites, recent tools, or theme settings. Those preferences are stored locally in your browser with localStorage. Third-party services described below may set their own cookies when they are enabled.

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our site when advertising is enabled. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing patterns.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to personalize ads, measure ad performance, limit repeated ads, and detect fraud or abuse. These advertising cookies are controlled by Google or its partners, not by the tool inputs you enter on Utiloom. Tool content still runs locally in your browser and is not sent to us for advertising targeting.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services by visiting Google's partner sites policy.

2.2 Google Analytics

We do not currently load Google Analytics by default. If analytics is enabled in the future, we may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This service can collect usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral sources. Google Analytics may use cookies to track this information. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. How We Use Information

The limited data we collect through third-party services is used to:

  • Understand site traffic and usage patterns to improve our tools if analytics is enabled.
  • Display advertisements to support the free operation of this site when ads are enabled.
  • Monitor site performance and identify technical issues.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. The only data shared with third parties is the anonymous analytics and advertising data described above, which is handled by Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Clear all locally stored data (theme, favorites, recent tools) through your browser settings.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking through browser add-ons or settings.
  • Request information about what data, if any, we hold about you.

6. Children's Privacy

Utiloom is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
